| Bio: | This is a character RP journal for ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif){kind=small} dark_tidesCharacter requested: Tim Drake (Robin III) Source: DC comics Canon History for the Character: When Tim Drake was three years old, he met the most influential person in his life: Dick Grayson. He saw the young acrobat perform his circus trapeze act... only to watch the youth's parents fall to their deaths a minute later. The event cemented itself into little Timmy's mind and one day, years later, while watching a Batman and Robin newscast, he realized that Robin's quadruple somersault was an exact match for Dick's. Having thus discovered the identities of Batman and Robin, Tim closely followed the duo's activities and later took on the mantle of Robin himself. Since then, Tim has become an incredible hero in his own right, making many powerful friends and establishing himself as a leader, first of Young Justice and later Teen Titans. For Tim, the Great Crisis began early. He lost his girlfriend, Stephanie Brown, to the violence of Black Mask. His father was murdered a little later during the JLA identity crisis. During the collision of the worlds, he watched his best friend, Superboy, sacrifice himself to stop the villainous SB-Prime. Despite the concern from his family of Batman and Nightwing, he became severely depressed and contemplated cloning Kon-El back to life. He tried and failed multiple times. Just as he was beginning to heal, his second best friend, Bart Allen--the Flash--was brutally murdered. Amid this chaos, he also lost his friend Batgirl to the drug-induced insanity of Slade Wilson. For Robin, the past year and few months have been devastating. He has had little refuge, save the comfort of Bruce and Dick and the blossoming relationship between himself and Wondergirl, Cassie Sandsmark. Even there, he treads uncertainly, uncertain if what he's doing is right or wrong... and sometimes if he even has the strength to care anymore. From where in the canon timeline is your character being pulled? Very shortly after Teen Titans #54. Just when he thinks he knows where he stands with Kon's death and Cassie's feelings... BAM. Kidnap and reality replacement. Just to screw with his head some more. ^_~ Basically, he's just barely ready to lay his issues with Kon and the permanence of death in general to rest, and he's just barely starting to accept his and Cassie's feelings for each other. Titans of Tomorrow arc has happened. Resurrection of Ra's Al Ghul has happened. Wondergirl arc has happened. | ||||
